(Dec 2011) I used to play in dance bands but retired from playing live in 1986. I purchased my PSR-3000 about four years ago and at first, couldn’t find out how to use it. The manual must hold some sort of record for being the least comprehensible ever published. I then discovered the PSR Tutorial site and all that changed and I began to realise what a magnificent instrument it really is.
I also play the guitar and tend to have periods when I don’t play the PSR much.
Being semi-retired now I generally play at home alternating the PSR with the guitar
depending what mood I’m in. I first started piano lessons over 50 years
ago but didn’t like learning scales. Fortunately my piano teacher was modern
looking and Russ Conway was having loads of hits along with Floyd Cramer. She sent
me to get the sheet music and the rest, as they say, is history. I played in bands
throughout the 70s and into the 80s running my own little trio for the last six years.
I’m still in touch with the drummer but the bass player sadly died young.
At first I used to download styles for the PSR from the internet but then I started modifying them to suit the tunes I like to play. I have around 170 saved on a USB stick all saved under song names. These are mostly “oldies” from the 60’s and 70’s but others too. Feel free to use/modify any you wish.

(Jul 2013) - In June of 2012, Tony updated and expanded his original list of 167 songs to 232 songs. Now, Tony has added an additional 95 songs bringing the total to 327 song styles.
