Not sending aux to Main out and muting main output
« on: September 29, 2023, 06:27:02 PM »
Two things I was trying to achieve,

First: I want to use the headphone jack on the SX900 to be able to listen to the keyboard + VH mic and mute the main output. I understand I can switch output to sub however that would be a bit overwhelming to switch all channels and then back. Doing reg I wouldn’t prefer  as I use registration settings for songs. Any other way to do this? Without playing around with the external mixer?

Second: get an aux in and not route it via output.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

So currently how I’m managing this is, I send main out L+R to the main mixer. And Sub out to my portable monitor mixer. I connect my headphones to my monitor mixer and turn off the speakers on the keyboard from the settings. When I want to just listen to the keyboard, I set the volume dial to 0. That sends signal only to sub port into the monitor mixer into my ears so I can check/practice. And when I’m ready I just have to turn up the volume, it sends volume out to the main mixer.

What I was trying to avoid is carrying the extra monitor mixer + extra cables + power adapter.
