MIDI program change

any one know how to stop SX700 transmiting program change when recording in cakewalk thanks
just to make clear the issue if i record a style in cakewalk, save it close cake walk , then re-open saved file when i press play it doesn't plat the correct drum track on midi channel 9
i cant find any program change info in event list

Hi hossit,

I think that the reason for the problem described here is the missing so-called MultiPart Drum Mode SysEx, which sets up channel 9 as an additional drum channel. (As far as I know, up to 3 drum channels are possible in XG. Channel 10 is automatically defined by the GM ON and XG SysEx for drums. For the second/third drum channel, however, the MultiPart Drum Mode SysEx mentioned must be sent.
