Hello Royce,,
Have 2 contributions,, one on topic and the other not.
1. On the s975 i took Telmo;s eq settings, which have made a difference. However, the machine is hooked up to the logitech
speakers that i had used for the tyros and have to put the eq setting back to the "speaker"' setting. Also, when i took my
s970 out and hooked up speakers, it was best to go back to speaker setting. Otherwise sound got messy and distorted.
Am still dealing with the low volume output on the s975 compared to the s970 and find some of the PLUS styles unbalanced
between style and voice volumes. Try to avoid upping gains as sometimes produce distortions as well.
The Tyros 5 had a master volume control which goes up to 127.. Can't find it on the s975
2. Off topic re: radiation therapy and early detection for any threatening illness.. Yes, stay on the soapbox and make regular
checkups, blood, etc. Usually tests are cautionary and if there are questions, hints, one gets monitored. Am currently
being monitored for CLL (chronic lymphoid leukimia) which either can up or down or stay the same for the next several
decades. All because my blood tests showed a change and my doctor was quick to send me for further tests.
As for radiation therapy , my husband had 6 weeks, (colerectal) early detection , was clean last year and still is taking
MRI's (protocol here in israel for 5 years) . At a certain age, even if difficult, cautionary exams are a must.
How can we enjoy our music and machines if we don't....
Thanks for being a wonderful soapboxer. no gloves..... wish you continued success.
cheers
