Agreed Maarten - not to mention the effect it would have on vocals being sung through the T5.
A 20 db increase is 4 times perceived volume and 10 times the sound pressure effect. If one wasn't careful, the limiters would be constantly triggered in the Bose Compacts, likely leading to a failure. To be fair, it would take some time, but I've seen soloists treat their single Compact like a Bose L2, which has 24 large tweeters and is very loud.
All the same Ben, your idea is intriguing and perhaps feasible with some lesser db settings. If you created an enhanced frequency response curve, that's a good thing. I intend to give the settings a try. Haven't had time lately due to gigs, which is also a good thing. Thanks for sharing
