PSR-S770, PSR-S710, PSR-730

(September, 2016) I've always loved music, all kinds of music, as far back as I can remember. I started learning a bit about how to play on a Magnus chord organ and later snuck onto my Dad's Kimball Swinger organ, learning what are now called "evergreens." During my teens, I taught myself to play piano and accordion, two instruments that I still love to this day.

Through my 20s and 30s, I was pretty busy raising a family, but I still found time to play when I could, mainly in church and occasionally in a local musical group.

I was in my 40s when Yamaha came out with the PSR-520 and I had one of those for a few years. I enjoyed being my own band and blending different instruments and beats together to change up a song or a sound. When the PSR-730 came out, it was everything I could want in an arranger keyboard (at that time). XGMidi was really taking off and I enjoyed everything the PSR-730 could do. I've recorded and subsequently lost quite a bit of music from that time, but a few of those old numbers are still here in my library.

A little while back, a friend of mine let me borrow his PSR-S700 for almost a week. I fell in love with it – the new styles, the USB, the quality of the voices, so a few of the songs in my library come from that week of experimenting with the S700. But, of course, I wanted one of my own. I've been slowly upgrading since then and recently acquired the PSR-S770. Although I like all kinds of music, I most enjoy taking a familiar tune and changing it up so that it grabs our ears all over again. I hope you enjoy some of my renditions here.
