Saving Everything
« on: March 02, 2024, 03:43:59 AM »
Hello All, Sorry to be a pain. Ive Read the handbooks, still can't find an answer.
I want to be able to save ALL my SX900 settings in one go.
Pedal 1 Style Control A B C D
Pedal 2 Volume (All) (Pedal reversed)
MIDI settings so I can use the second keyboard
Split Keyboard (none) and A1 Full Keyboard
Live 1 Volume L1 & Style
Live 2 Volume R1 & R2 & R3
The 3 Voices for Each One Touch Setting 1 - 2 - 3 - 4
My Choice of Multipads

I know how to spend 10mins and set these things manually and play away ok.

I can put a new formatted USB In slot 1
I can Select memory and tick EVERY box
and save it to Registration Memory 1
I can 'save it here' onto my USB

BUT - - - When I turn the 900 on from cold recal the registration from the USB only a few of the voices and NONE of the operational settings have been memorised
and I have to go through the whole set up again

WHY ?

Is there, just one button that can save all those things, so no matter whose SX900 get in the studios, I can put my USB in and recall every setting and instantly start to play ?

Thanks - John  :-[

OTS voices are saved in a style, not a registration.

You need to create a user style with these voices, then memorize that style in your registration.

The rest of the settings can be memorized in a registration, so your saving procedure must be flawed.

You need to try again. Or, post the registration here, and we can tell you what’s wrong with it.

Cheers,

Hi John

I may have mis-read your post, so forgive me in advance.

The Set-up Registration you refer to should work great HOWEVER it does not save the voices and all user settings for use on another keyboard brought into the studio.  Any Expansion voices etc are not transferred by a keyboard setup.  User and midi setting also have to be saved as a separate operation via the main Menu Utilities.
