« on: February 23, 2024, 02:43:57 PM »
Can anyone give any info on how to connect a PSR900 and a Piaggero NP31 via Midi?
Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciate.

Thanks in advance

Hi --

Do you mean "PSR-SX900" or "PSR-900"?

Both the PSR-SX900 and NP-31 have 5-pin DIN connectors on the rear panel for MIDI IN/OUT. Buy two MIDI cables, if you want to send MIDI in both directions. Then read page 110 in the PSR-SX900 Owner's Manual, "Connecting External MIDI Devices." There is probably a similar section in the NP-31 owner's manual.

Check the Reference Manuals to learn how to put both instruments on the same MIDI channel(s).

Hope this helps -- pj

Very much appreciated pj. Directions to the actions required in the manual is a great help, instead of having to plough through stuff not required. Yes, I did mean the SX900, sorry for my mistake.
Many Thanks
