Topic: psr910 STYLES

I looked over in the style collection and got confused about which collection I want/need.

I want the EXACT copy of those styles that came in the original S910.

I want to use some of them in my new(to me)  CVP606.

The PSR-S910 preset styles are available on this page for you to download

You just need to click on the category name such as:
BALLAD
BALLROOM
COUNTRY
DANCE
ENTERAINER
LATIN
POP&ROCK
R&B
SWING&JAZZ
WORLD

And download each category one at a time.

Drake. Ideally the Style Download Page here one would be expecting them to be raw originals from the particular keyboard models.
But unfortunately this is not the case. I have found that some model styles have been altered-messed with.

Actually the page I have linked to and the download links on that page are in fact preset original styles the he is looking for.

Onacimus S910 Style Conversions are not original but those are not the ones I have directed him to get. I pointed him to the "hidden" ones above Onacimus styles.

Some time ago I asked Joe about the PSR Styles Page and he agreed that the Styles from the models listed in some cases may not be factory originals.

When my DGX670 were loaded in the CHARTER FILES I did mention they are Raw straight from my DGX.

It may also be that they are in fact originals, but will sound differently on other models.

Toril. Agreed that is true, but forgetting PSR Tutorial downloads, 3rd party styles in general very few for myself are keepers.
The main problem is the style part voice volumes have been greatly increased to the point that right hand volumes are set at 127, this high setting can push the keyboards preamps into distortion.
Right hand volume set at 127 does not allow any adjustment.

Yamaha's built in style settings & OTS volumes are very good and allow room for personal adjustments.

You can also adjust the Volume setting of USER styles that have the OTS volume set to high or to low.

You are would just to lower the OTS volume use the MEMORY button and then Save the style.
