Synchronisation of two keyboards
« on: January 31, 2024, 02:48:26 AM »
Dear Expert,
Hope you are doing well. New Genos2 has been released but I'm with my sx900. I want to buy another keyboard. I want to play both the keyboards together in same tempo. So my question is:
How to synchronise two keyboards while playing with the rhythm (in accompany mode) so that both of them can be played with same tempo?
Awaiting for your early response. I know you all are genius 😊😊😊

I don’t know if this will help, but you might be able to set one keyboard to be the MIDI clock source, and the other one to follow that external MIDI clock. You would need some sort of MIDI hub in between, which could be a computer or tablet running appropriate software (a DAW, for instance), or perhaps a special purpose device.

Maybe this video contains some useful information too. In his example heet sync between a DAW and a synth, but I think this story also applies to two keyboards connected.
