Using Ensemble Voices
« on: January 07, 2024, 02:11:18 AM »
I understand the principle behind Ensemble Voices.
If I play open voicings, it sounds great.

However, there are note combinations that “re-key”. (kinda like some organ sounds do).

Is there a maximum number of notes that can be played using Ensemble?
Any other tips for realistic results?

Thanks.

Here is a link to a very good video by Heidrun from Soundwonderland software for Yamaha, on how to play ensemble voices  (Tyros5, Genos, Genos2) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_V00baqPd8; the video is in German but has English subtitles.  Soundwonderland has developed a few packages that extend the ensemble voices to other combinations and you can find it on their Website https://soundwonderland.de/pages/en/shop/voices.php ; I bought some of them and found them helpful as well as other styles and registrations on their site.  The Shop includes detailed descriptions of the software and usually videos with instructions on their use.
