Topic: Genos 2 styles to Tyros 5

Hi all!

I was woundering if anyone has taken the time to "convert" the Genos 2 new styles (or all styles) to Tyros 5.  I know it is a cheeky, question but I would love to wake up my old Tyros with the new styles.

Yes but they will not sound as they should even with a lot of work on them.

I sent you some links to get the styles that I have converted.

And they sound as great on your Tyros 5 keyboard as your preset styles. The styles all play the same notes as on a Genos 2 but your keyboard just uses a few different voice sounds sometimes. There are cases where there is not a suitable drum kit and that track needs to be omitted or a replacement needs to be subbed into the track. But in 95% of the styles there is no big difference in the finished quality of the style.

They don't sound just like the Genos 2 style, I think they sound better after they have been properly tweaked to an older keyboard.

I have never used the Multi Pads and will not be converting them.

Hi Drake,

Usualy I allso dont used Multi pad's often,but
many times i used them like substitute rithm
Guitar in Style's.In this case I use XG Works program to
do this.For me this Multi pad's usualy sound much bether and realistic like
Guitar struming in original style's.
