I have the CVP-809 and it is preloaded with 50 popular songs.  Where can I find/purchase more songs?

If you mean MIDI Songs, you can play any Standard MIDI file (.mid) on the CVP-809 (XG, GS, GM and GM2 standard are supported). Of course, it may happen that you need to adjust something to your taste for certain files (e.g. change channel volumes, voices or effects).

When it comes to playing with Styles: If you don't have the "Bonus Playlist for CVP-809" yet, you can download it via the following link. In this Playlist pack you will find over 1200 Registration Bank files (.rgt), which can either be loaded directly or accessed with the Playlist files (.tsv) that are also included:
