Hi, just got a psr s970 the firmware installed is v1.01 the latest is V1.06 my question is do i have to install previous versions before installing the latest version, hope you can help. All the best. John

Hi John
Small Yamaha updates come in incrementally, and usually address or enhance minor issues.

However, New O/s versions are built on top of previous versions, so they include and incorporate everything the previous versions do along with all updates.
So, in your case, you just need the main update to V1. 06
