« on: October 04, 2023, 11:53:58 PM »
Hello everyone, as the topic says, I want to copy some preset styles from the PSR-340 to my disk, I don't know how to do it, if someone knows how to do it, I thank you, I'll stay tuned. 8)

Hi Ektor,

As far as I know, there is no option on the PSR-340 to copy the preset styles or save them to disk.

There is an Expansion Pack (for YEM compatible PSR-S/SX models) that includes some of the PSR-340's Styles and Voices. You could install this on your PSR-S970:
>>> https://asia-latinamerica-mea.yamaha.com/en/products/contents/keyboards/vse/340/

You can download the included 12 styles from my Dropbox here:
>>> https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/eokzfw2rf2jw3krhjlwyu/340_S970_Styles-12.zip?rlkey=4frbilu4zripxi0zy5cae4xlu&dl=0

These styles are included:

01 FlkRckPeruano1.sty
02 FlkRckPeruano2.sty
03 CumbiaPeruana.sty
04 Reggaeton1.STY
05 Reggaeton2.STY
06 SalsaRomantica.sty
07 Merengue1.sty
08 Merengue2.sty
09 Bachata.STY
10 Vellenato.sty
11 TangoArgentino.sty
12 Gaita.sty

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Chris

➪ Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that and just did it.
➪ Never put the manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

Thanks overover again, yes I know those styles from the PSR-340 pack, but there are other styles that I like about that keyboard, I have several concerns, I know that the keyboard is medium technology, half old and half new hahaha, but the question is, do you know? Can I edit the styles like on a PSR-2000 or PSR-SX900, or is it not possible on a PSR-340?
Another question is that when you save it as a user type file, what type of file does it contain?
And finally someone told me that it could be done using a MIDI cable but I don't know, does anyone know what it would be like?

I remain attentive and thank you very much.
