I love this new Cell Phone mode on the PaX5 as demonstrated here by Alois Muller (he's joking of course.....)

Just brilliant!

Apparently, the Pa5X has a chord recognition mode, where the style only changes chords when three or more fingers are played at the same time. When you play with only one finger, you get a sound but the chord stays the same. Great for short counter melodies.

So when Alois picks up his phone with his right hand, he continues to play with his left hand only, doing both the chord changes and the melody with one hand!

Alois is fantastic; at the same level as Michel Voncken.

Definitely worth a watch.

Genos has that ability as well. Just set the 'Fingering type' to 'fingered'
