Ipad with Camera Adapter stopped charging iPad with IOS upgrade 16.5

Hi Guys,

In case anyone else is having problems with their camera adapter all of a sudden not charging their iPad Pro, it is because of the latest IOS upgrade to 16.5. There are two ways to fix this. One is to become a beta tester for Apple and upgrade to IOS Beta 16.6, which corrects the problem, or two, use the newer USB C charger to replace the USB A. Both will work. You will need the new style cord to go with the USB C charger too. The release of IOS 16.6 is scheduled for July.
