Default settings live control/assignable knobs
« on: March 03, 2023, 03:17:19 PM »
Searched this but couldn’t find the answer

Is there any way to change the default settings on the assignable buttons/knobs?

Past keyboards I had to create a master registration with assignables set up the way I want them.

True with the SX900?

Thx

You should set up a 'master' registration set up with everything how you want it.

In fact you might want more than one - one that sets the assignable buttons, one that sets the ACMP mode and split points, etc

That way, if you ever load a registration that messes up your settings, it's trivial to set them back again

Got my SX900 set up for the most part.

I brought over about 250 styles/lyrics from my Genos.  I’m using my Genos as a reference for the styles but using SX900 styles in place…even if they are named the same.

I have my SX900 hooked to my Bose L1 Pro8.  Many styles/voices are ok but definitely not at the caliber of sound of my Genos/L1Pro8. For example, the growl sax on the SX900
sounds slightly shrill to my ears compared to the growl sax on my Genos.

That said, my Genos has 256 note polyphony for styles/sounds.  Bound to be smoother

Still, I sure like the compactness and versatility of my SX900.

I’m thinking, over time, I’ll be playing with the eq to get some improvement

Thx again all.
