Text transfer
« on: February 25, 2023, 07:37:49 PM »
First off, good to be back and thx for all the help. 👍

From my Genos, I copied all my registrations to my SX900.  I was surprised as to how well the registrations worked on my SX900….with one exception

My texts(song lyrics) did not copy.  At least I can’t find them.  I checked the lyrics and text screens on the SX900.  NADA…they don’t show up.

Texts show up on my Genos when I hit text on the Genos.

I’d rather not have to go out and find all those song lyrics again and transfer them as texts.

Thoughts?

Texts are separate files from registrations. Did you copy those files too?

Thx for the help

On a Genos, your text files are likely on the User drive in a folder called TEXT. This is where your registrations will look for them regardless of where the registrations are moved to.

So for your registrations to find your text files on the SX900, they need to be on the User drive, in the TEXT folder.

Hi Guitpic1, i've check on my SX900; you must use "Text viewer" and go where you've put your textes files (La Paloma.txt) on the USB; All the best Patrick

Thx again all.

I did find some my lyrics(text form) on my CPU. They work well.

I’ll keep digging in my Genos files to see if I can find the rest.

Thx again
