DGX670 LP1 Pedal Workaround
« on: February 17, 2023, 03:49:42 AM »
Hello all. My first post here. I am a long time Roland arranger player.  I kept my Roland E60 for its styles and the key bed is more suitable for organ styles and guitar emulation.(and gigging) I missed having an 88 key weighted digital piano and discovered the DGX 670.  An amazing keyboard for the price. I did not purchase the stand for the DGX as I have a Quiklok two tier ZStand. I purchased the LP1 pedal hoping I could use it without the Yamaha L300 wooden stand.  The bad news is that the pedal will not sit flush on the floor. The good news is that I was able to attach it to the low crossbar on the Quiklok by the 2 metal poles on the Yamaha pedal with rubber coated flexible wire ties that I had been using to hang guitar cables. Works perfectly and now I just have to learn about programming the pedals. I believe I have to create a master setup registration so that it doesn't change when I turn the keyboard off. Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Brian
