Hello everyone

Hi
I’m Chris,72 yr old barber from Leicester uk.

Started on guitar in ‘64,formed a band and had great fun till ‘69.I continue to play but just at home.

Always wanted to be a pianist so when I was around 30 tried teaching myself piano with chords.

Bought numerous keyboards and digital pianos over the years ,around 95% were Yamahas.I tried other makes but always came back to Yammys.

You might think since I started a long time ago I would be pretty good but not really. I was still mainly playing guitar.
This year I’m making a big effort to really improve in playing  the great American songbook standards and getting better at playing solo jazz.
I’ve been using my Yamaha P115 predominantly but have just purchased the PSRWE 425 mainly for the 76 keys and excellent Piano samples,I’ve always loved Yamaha piano sounds.I had a PSR S500 for many years,
Whilst still using the piano voice alone I have bought this keyboard for variety and  to enjoy its many functions and sounds.
Thankyou to the team for allowing me to be part of this forum and I look forward to sharing time here getting to know and exchange ideas with fellow members.
