How to start audio with a foot pedal
« on: January 25, 2023, 10:24:03 AM »
I want to play the flute along with the keyboard SX 600 playing an audio play along. Therefore the playback must be started with a footpedal. Is it possible, how? For the footpedal there is unfortunately no audio- playback start function in the options.

It seems that nobody in this forum has an idea, how the audio can be started. So, I investigated this case and found that an audio file can generally be started with a sysex command, which you can find in the data list of the keyboard. So, it is possible to do it. As attachment there is a midifile, which should do this job. It works with Genos and T3, but not with the SX 600 and I don't know why. Any advice?
If you want to try this midifile, please change the file type to mid.
