Removing Factory Styles

There many styles I would never use.

Is it possible to delete them from the keyboard so they don’t show in menus and searches ?

Welcome to the PSR Tutorial Forum, Nova227!

No, it is not possible to delete Preset content. This can only be changed by Yamaha (via firmware update).

Besides using the Favorites feature, you could just copy all preset styles you want into one folder (or into multiple folders sorted by genre/category for example) and then use these copied styles instead of the preset styles.

By the way, most users mainly work with (self-created) Registrations. The Style Selection display is therefore normally only used for creating the Registrations or when searching for a suitable Style for a specific song title.

Best regards,
Chris

➪ Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that and just did it.

I don't use registrations a lot, but do the other thing Chris mentioned, I make folders with the styles I am going to use, and pick them from there.

Thanks for the feedback. I can live with that solution.
