Need DSP tutorial
« on: January 10, 2023, 06:23:21 PM »
Want to learn how to use the DSP function on my PSR S975. Done a search on youtube etc and have not found anything that really explains on how to use DSP. Also, checked this site and can't find what I am looking for.
Anyone know where I can find a good tutorial on how to use and set up DSP.

Really want to learn how to use the DSP and Var buttons to give me different effects to the voice I am using. Basically looking to add refer to different voices.

Thanks In Advance
Roger

Hi Roger,

If not already done, please download the S975 Reference Manual and Data List  PDFs. There you can find all the information you need about the S975's DSPs (Effect Blocks) that are not in the Owner's Manual.
>>> https://uk.yamaha.com/en/support/manuals/index.html?l=en&c=keyboards&k=psr-s975

In your PDF Reader search the PDF Manuals for the term DSP to quickly find all relevant text passages. (I recommend to download also the Owner's Manual as PDF.)

Best regards,
Chris

➪ Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that and just did it.
➪ Never put the manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

Hi Roger

Of course, look at the Manual as suggested by Chris.

These are two videos in which I explained what you are interested in. I recorded on Genos, but the principle is the same on all Yamaha arrangers. Turn on English subtitles.
