Topic: Audio Quick recording not available

On my SX 900 a notice comes up saying "This function is not available now"  I would prefer not to record in midi. So if I want to make a quick recording I don't know what to do.

Make sure you have a good quality USB stick installed as the SX900 records Audio straight to this.

What else are you doing at the same time? For example are you in the style creator / song creator page? If you just switch the machine on, and immediately attempt an audio quick recording, does it work then?

Thanks Eileen  and Derek. All fixed now. It was the USB Stick. I am very grateful for your help.
