If you're playing chords with 3 or 4 fingers, my strong recommendation is to set it to AI Fingered Mode.
Why?
1) this mode is 'transparent' to all normal chords, eg major, minor, 7ths, diminished etc. In other words, they all play normally
2) it will allow you to play 'on bass' or 'slash' chords, like G/D or C7/Bb
3) it will allow you to play certain chords, like 9ths or even 13ths with just three notes rather than 4 or 5
4) it stops what I call the 'Multifinger bug', where if you you played, say, a C chord in its usual inversion of G C E, and accidentally hit the G ahead of the other two notes, the keyboard would respond with a G chord before 'glitching' to the C chord. And sometimes it will 'lock' onto the G chord and ignore the extra notes you play!
5) if you want to push AI Fingered Mode a little, it will allow to play such exotica as Cm9/F
In short, there's nothing to lose ane a lot to gain!
