Hello from Sunny Arizona
« on: December 31, 2022, 01:52:29 PM »
Happy New Year (eve).  8)

I'm a long-time guitarist, new to keyboard.  I recently bought a new SX900, and am struggling with understanding the interrelationships between styles, songs, registrations, One Touch Settings, and midi files.  I'm hoping the tutorials on the PSR will help clear up the haze.

I think I will be ordering the 2021 Lessons+, Styles #17, and the Midi Library files from the site.  I've Emailed Joe for some advice there.

Regards, and Happy New Year!

Welcome to the forum.

Regarding OTS and registrations, your life will be a lot simpler if you go with one or the other, not both.

I’m glad you’ve seen the sun around here, because I haven’t seen it for a while. That being said, the weather here is a lot better than most parts of the country.

Cheers,
Fred

Thank you for the link to your lessons Fred.  I'll take a look this morning.  As for the sun, we only have 340 days of sunshine a year on average here in Yuma.  Hoping for 345 this year!!  8)

Thanks Roger.  Yesterday I ordered:  2021 lessons +, Styles #17, and the Midi Library.  My CC has the charge pending, so I assume it is waiting for Joe to complete my order.

You're welcome, Craig. Joe has family visiting from out of town for the holidays, but I'm sure he will see your new order soon and fulfill your order soon.

I'm very familiar with Yuma. When I was in the Marine Corps, I was stationed at the Yuma Marine Corps Air Station in the early 1960's. I can testify to the fact that it does get just a little bit warm there. :)  ;)
