Topic: Shortcuts to toggle between Styles Creator and Mixer

Hi

When I want to set a Voice, Channel Volume, Channel Panning, etc for a channel, individually for each Variation, the method I use is to first go to Style Creator. Then once in Style Creator, I go to the Mixer by going to Menu 1 > Mixer. Then after I make the changes in the Mixer for each variation, to get back into Style Creator, I press the Exit button twice (1st to exit the Mixer, 2nd to exit Menu 1). This puts me back in Style Creator.

Are there shortcuts that I could use to toggle between Style Creator and Mixer? Shortcuts would really speed up my workflow.

I tried setting assignable button A to Mixer and Assignable button B to Style Creator but once I am in Style Creator, the Assignable buttons do not work.

You might be able to use the DIRECT ACCESS button. See page 120 of the Owner’s Manual.

.. I go to the Mixer by going to Menu 1 > Mixer.

-while you're inside Style Creator, why don't you just press Mixer/EQ button (on the left side of display)?
In that case, after you're done in mixer, you just close the mixer and you will automatically land back inside Style Creator (to save your work).

I apologize if I missed the point of your question.

PS. Sorry, I had PSR keyboard in mind -I just realized Genos doesn't have Mixer/EQ button on panel.

Hi MusicMan,

As already mentioned by Michael, in the Genos Owner's Manual on page 120 you will find the possible Direct Access shortcuts to open "Mixer > Style page".

With [Direct Access] > [Intro 3] you can e.g. open the Mixer to adjust the Volumes of the Style parts.

Rather than Ending 3, to minimise extra button presses use Direct Action followed by Ending 1 or 2, which take you directly to style mixing. (Ending 3 takes you to the Master section of Mixer).

I found the details on page 120 of the manual for how to go to a specific page of the mixer.
