So, you want a Shadows guitar?
« on: October 04, 2022, 06:07:41 PM »

Hi --

I was working on Del Shannon's Keep Searchin' and wound up exploring a Shadows-like guitar sound. The write-up got too long to post here: :-)

I noticed that Genos has a unique voice, "ShadowedGuitar", which can be re-created on other PSR and Tyros instruments. The write-up breaks this voice down.

Hope this helps all 50s/60s fans -- pj

Years ago someone created a Shadow Guitar sound for the PSR series and shared it. I saved it in a style I use for the song "Sleep Walk", here is the link:

You can easily just "copy and paste" the OTS of this guitar set up into any style you have.

Here is a link to the Genos “60sShadowedPop” style that I have working in my S950 keyboard and I have placed the Shadow Guitar set up in the OTS as well.
