Deleting unused registration steps in a bank
« on: August 25, 2022, 09:48:42 AM »
perhaps a silly question for those experts around here :-) , but the following. I made a registry bank using the first three steps of the eight on my SX900. However, steps 4 to 8 are also completed, but I do not use them. Can I somehow remove it?
Yamaha CK61, Yamaha MODX7, Korg Pa5X, Yamaha YH-WL500, Roland Fantom 07, Roland Boutique D-05/TR-08, Logic Pro

Hi DePaleRider,

You can rename or delete individual Registrations of a Bank in "Regist Bank Edit" display.

Quote from SX900/700 Owner's Manual, page 89:

Editing a Registration Memory Bank

You can edit a Registration Memory Bank (delete or rename each Registration Memory, etc.) in the Regist Bank Edit dis-
play.

1 Call up the Registration Bank Selection display, then select the desired Bank.

2 Touch [Menu] then [Regist Bank Edit] to call up the Regist Bank Edit display.

3 Edit the Registration Memory Bank information.
Touch to select the desired Registration Memory. The Registration Memory is selected as a editing target, but not actually loaded.

• To change the name of the selected Registration, touch [Rename].
• To ]delete the selected Registration, touch [Delete].

4 Touch [Save] to save the edited Registration Memory Bank
file.

Best regards,
Chris

➪ Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that and just did it.
➪ Never put the manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)
