Recorded song to PC
« on: October 27, 2022, 07:04:58 PM »
It happens that I record a song on the Genos, and would like to transfer it to my PC.
But the only way the wav files can be exported from Genos to PC is via USB mode or via USB stick that I need to pull out the Genso and use on my PC.
With the 'Musicsoft Downloader' program it is not possible to transfer the recorded song.
Or am I missing something ?

Etienne

Hi Etienne,

I don't have any problems copying WAV or MP3 from the Genos to my laptop using Musicsoft Downloader ..... as long as I don't copy from the root of the SONG directory.
Songs that are in a subfolder copy without a problem, but when I select a WAV or MP3 in the SONG folder root, I get the error Disk Full.

By the way, I don't use the MOVE button, I use R-click for copy and paste.

Take care,

Update:

I noticed that when I copy large wav files  (> 20 mb) I get a 'Disk Full' error message too.

Hello Stijn,

Doesn't work for me on my Genos (OS v2.13).
I always get the 'Disk Full' error, from root and subfolder.
