Old MFD files for use in SX-900?
« on: July 20, 2022, 12:19:25 AM »
Hello

I've been trying to understand the difference between the older MFD files and the Playlist functions.

Is there a way to import old MFD files for use with an SX-900?   or a utility for conversion?

Thanks!

Watch this video, it explains the difference between MDF and Playlist. It is also shown how the conversion can be done. Turn on subtitles.

I've watched several of your videos and they are very helpful!  Thanks again.

Is there some good way to ,manage/add/merge entries to a playlist?  I have tried "append" but it does not manage duplicates and just adds entries to the end of the playlist.

Any suggestions are welcome.

thank you!

I may have figured this out.   The "*.tsv" files can be renamed to "*.csv", and then they are editable with Excel.

If there is a more elegant way, I would appreciate the feedback.

Thanks

Just press List on the Playlist screen and then select the registrations you want to add. Then press save.
