The display screen on the sx 900 is nearly invisible when gigging outdoors. Besides and external monitor, has anyone come up with a solution? My brightness is turned all the way up.

The next best solution is to be in the shade. Say you'll gig outside if they provide some sort of canopy for you.

Next best, use song registrations you can just step through without ever having to look at the screen. I create my gig list ahead of time, and use registration sequencer to step through the song.

3rd. Place a (selfmade and inside dark painted) box just over your display that keeps the display  out of the light/sun and has enoight hight to touch the screen.
