Style like on HS8 wanted.

I want to play "Have You Ever Been In Love", a 1982 hit for Leo Sayer.

The official video of the song is at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4T53JYxg_DM

I came across a recording I made in 1987 playing it on my Yamaha HS8 Electone. Now I want to play it on my Genos with a style like the one I used on my HS8 - but I can't find anything like it. I think it was one of the 8 Beat rhythms.

My recording is here - the rhythm starts at about 01:10. Please excuse the errors:

I still have the sheet music from then, which I'm currently converting to a lead sheet in MuseScore.

I don't have my HS8 anymore - only kept it for two weeks - it was my first Yammy. Having come from a Technics EX50 I exchanged it for a Technics EX70 (£3,926) + Technics FD1 (£375) + Yamaha TX81Z (£399). I don't recall how much money changed hands for the exchange.

Technology back then wasn't like today and of course there was no internet so styles weren't available as they are today - no Yamaha site. Styles then were also much simpler than the styles on my Genos. I know about using the Mixer.

I wondered if anyone here can suggest something.

The rhythm pattern sounds Latin. I should try there.

Thanks, Eileen, I'll give it a try.

I've been auditioning my 8 Beat styles - of which I have many.
