Any practical differences between PSR-210 and PSR-215?
« on: June 05, 2022, 12:43:30 PM »
Hello guys!

I used to own a PSR-210 (later switched to E-423), that keyboard really pulled its weight for me even though being really nothing special, and even took part in a few public gigs. I know that two years later, in 1995 a very similar instrument was released, the PSR-215. Are there any practical differences between the two keyboards? I know only the external differences, the 215 having buttons in more striking colors as well as sligthly different voice/style mode indicator diodes. But is that all, or are there maybe some differences in the internals? Like maybe an updated sound generator chip or something? It would be pretty weird to re-release an instrument like this with nothing but meaningless cosmetic changes to it, unless it was only for a particular market where the 210 couldn't reach in its own time. Anyway, thanks in advance for all your help with this!
