Suggestions for a TYROS 5  76keys Keyboard Stand... what are you players using and why?
Mostly for use in home & occasionally take out on the road also.

Pluses:
-extremely stable (no wobbling&wiggling),
-stability doesn't suffer by changing height,
-plenty room for legs if sitting when playing,
-many options to upgrade,
-portable (kind of),
-looks very classy (hey, that matters too  )

Minuses:
-is quite heavy,
-only kind of portable (because of weight),
-certain upgrades can be expensive (but they exist!)

In short: I don't even look at other stands anymore.

Thanx for the suggestion it looks like a kool KB stand, ....After many good reviews I have decided to order this model from Gator Frameworks  it should fill my needs and also give me the room underneath for pedals, legroom etc, versus a traditional  Xstand type...

Yeah for the heavy keyboards, the table style is very stable. I remember using a very heavy duty version of the table style stand years back but can't find out what brand it is, probably an old on stage stands model...
