I have never used YEM before, and have a few questions:
1) Is there a YEM version that works for Tyros3 ?
2) if yes, can I use YEM to package a set of styles/voices that I created to be installed on other Tyros, Genos, SX keyboards ?
3) can I create package such that it only installs in the keyboard with the matching ID ?

Oh oh, NEVER MIND. I found from this Tyros3 forum that YEM only work for Tyros4, 970/770 , SX and Genos.
Tyros3 is too old for YEM.

Tyros4 does not yet support the current YEM technology either. The YEM is therefore only suitable for Tyros5, Genos, PSR-SX models, PSR-Sx7x models, PSR-A3000 and PSR-A5000.

The Tyros3 only supports the .UVN /. UVD Custom Voice Format (which can be loaded directly). But please keep in mind that there is only one Expansion Voice Bank on the T3 (maximum 128 Custom Normal Voices plus, if I remember correctly, 20 Custom Drum Voices. In addition, the T3 uses volatile RAM modules as Expansion Wave memory. The installed Expansion Voices must must therefore be loaded with each start, which can take a relatively long time under certain circumstances.

● Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that, and - just did it.
● Never put the Manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

Thanks for the clarification.
I am gradually moving to playing my Genos more than the T3 these days.
Memory and YEM won't be any issue.
