Topic: EQ settings

I’ve moved from an s975 to the s970 and find that the 970 is not as clear as my previous board. Unfortunately, I didn’t save the EQ settings. I’ve played around with MEQ and saved a setting but it’s still not to my liking.  What are your settings? What kHz’s are you focusing in on? Are you doing a lot of gain? Any help is appreciated.

Ps- I’m the friend that DNJ referred to in his bellows shake question. I find that Polka Pop has a decent shake in the accompaniment. Again, I can’t really bring it up front enough in the mixer and was hoping some EQ adjustment brings it out.

Sorry not to have responded earlier but I've only just seen your post.

My MEQ is +7, +5, +3, +5, +4, +4, +5, +6

Also, because I have a light touch on the keyboard, I have set the touch setting to Soft 2, via Controller, Keyboard /Panel.
