Recovering Chord Tracker data
« on: April 06, 2022, 02:38:43 PM »
Hi all!
I have an iPad Pro with iPados 15.4.1, which I use exclusively connected to Genos. Incidentally Apple assistance informed me that by backing up ICloud or local on PCs are not saved third-party app data (such as Chord Tracker). If so, in the event of a system restore you risk losing all the work of arrangement of scores of years. Do you have advice, suggestions, experiences to share on this?
Thanks
Valerio

ChordTracker allows access to DropBox, but this feature is not documented in the manual. The manual suggests that songs can be synchronized to DropBox. How to do this is not explained nor does the manual describe that is actually saved.

I tried using iTune file sharing, but iTunes didn't show any ChordTracker app data.

Yamaha could really improve this aspect of ChordTracker...

All the best -- pj

Thanks PJ!
Your notes have been useful to me because after entering the loop to look for a solution I was afraid as it actually confirms me. I agree with you: we really hope they make these non-secondary aspects of Chord Tracker, because the software in itself is really interesting and useful ...
