SX700 Stop Midi playing after recording it.
« on: March 28, 2022, 11:21:16 AM »
OK, I have made a midi on my SX700. The kbd loves it SOOOOOOO much that it won't stop playing!!! I have made some changed but I can't record again because the MIDI will keep on playing! How do I stop the Midi playing other than turning OFF the kbd.
Please help as this is driving me crazy.
Regards, Denn.

When you say it keeps playing do you mean it keeps repeating its self or that you forgot to press the stop button when you finished playing. To record another song just go to Midi recording and press New Song. This then sets the keyboard up for a new recording.

I think the question is is there a hard stop for the end of the song.  I've been finally working on a complete song which ends at measure 192. However when I play it it just keeps going on and on and on. Same with recording.  I don't see any tracks that have anything recorded beyond that point is there a hardstop that can be placed there?

You must always remember to press stop when you have finished the song or it will just go on and on as you have found.
