PSR E373 - Local OFF, Ext Clk ON
« on: March 05, 2022, 09:57:34 AM »
Hello,

I have a PSR E373 and use Studio One 5.x as my main DAW.
I am fairly new to both!
If I turn Local OFF and Ext. Clk. ON these settings are not 'remembered' after a Power Off and On.
Is there any known workaround?
Could I get Studio One to 'Instruct' the PSR?

Thanks

I use Cakewalk with my 373 and if keyboard is powered and connected prior to booting up Cakewalk, Cakewalk will then see the keyboard and assign it as both input and output and automatically change function to Locals OFF.  If I then shutdown Cakewalk and want to play my keyboard, I have to either change the Function 37 back to Local ON or reboot the keyboard.  I believe the keyboards default setting is "ON."

Hello

Thanks for you reply.
Studio One requires External Devices to be 'set up'.

I set up a track with an Automation Lane for Local on/off (CC 122) set to zero from bar 1.
On pressing Start in Studio One this worked so I intend to make a PSR Template.

I think the Ext. Clock problem is for another day.

Maybe you can do the settings on the E373 and save this in a registration slot ?

Hello pquenin,

Thanks for your reply.

I tried this but Registration Memory remembers:
Voices , Styles, FX, Harmony, Arpeggio, Transpose, Split Point, etc. but not Local On/ Off.
