Hello everyone from Georgia, USA

New to the forum

I have owned a PSR-2000 for many many years and enjoyed the voices and styles.
Recently I decided to upgrade from "diskette" to USB using a Gotek emulator. Being
computer repair savvy, I was very careful with the installation, power plug and pin
layout. Carefully following instructions and videos found, the installation was fairly
straight forward.

Applying power, the USB emulator display was lite and holding in two buttons while
powering up, displayed the firmware. BUT half of the keyboard controls were
now not working. Next day, disassembled and removed the USB emulator cables
to test, still half of keyboard controls not working. Installed the old "diskette"
drive, but same issue. Also made sure all keyboard internal cables were secure.
Good bye PSR-2000! You have been a good friend!

So yesterday I ordered a Yamaha DGX-670, should arrive this coming Monday.
New adventure, another journey! AND since this has a USB function, no hardware
installation needed!
