Hi
How can you change the default settings of the foot pedals on the Genos
I want to set them as follows
1)  Articulation 2
2) Fill self
3) Intro 2
but every time I change registration or style They change back to
1) articulation 1
2) Fill self
3) volume
What to do??

The Genos will remember pedal settings, so you don't have to use registrations to do so.

Your problem is you've told your registrations to set the pedal settings, so they're doing what they've been told. You need to re-memorize the offending registrations, telling them not to set the pedal (ie, ensure the Pedal box is unchecked ).

So, what happened when you re-memorized your registration?

Hi  chesterkins,

Styles cannot change Pedal settings, only Registrations can do this.

Note: After changing the Pedal settings manually, be sure to CLOSE the Assignable display properly (by touching the X symbol or pressing the Exit button). This will save the current Pedal settings in the so-called System Setup, and your settings will be there also after a restart. BUT, as mentioned, Registrations always can change the Pedal settings if different settings were memorized in it.

If you want to make sure that the pedal settings are not changed by Registrations, you can use the Freeze function:

- Press [Direct Access] > [Freeze] to open the Freeze settings and make sure only the "Pedal" box is ticked. CLOSE the Freeze settings display.

- If you now switch on the Freeze function (LED of the Freeze button lights up), the current Pedal settings are locked.

Best regards,
Chris
