My Genos starts up normally at default settings
I can change styles etc BUT
If change a registration it immediately lowers the octave of the board
Of course I can change it back up
but is this normal??

So, re-memorize the registration to have it do what you want.

and Fred I have 2000 registrations from the Tyos5 MFD all demonstrating this pheromone
Hoping for a overall fix

Did you convert the MF from Tyros 5 to Playlist on Genos or are you just using them as registrations.
  I also have them in both formats and do not have this problem.

I have them in both formats  I firstly go to the playlist   but then I go to the registration it refers to but it already is in  - 1  octave
So I have to press the button to return it to 0

When selecting these registrations you need to have the OTS link on and use like you did on Tyros.

I do have the OTS on but it still goes to -1 octave if I chose a playlist item

Yes  That was one of the first things I did
As i said its only with the registrations associated with T5 MFD conversion to Playlist
ALL other registrations are fine
Maybe converting from a 61 keyboard os an issue
Not sure  Am sure I dont want to edit 2000 registrations Thus looking for a mass solution

Are these coming from your own Tyros 5 Eileen
What process did you use converting them ?

It is the basic Tyros 5 MF saved as registrations. I then split them into sections to make it easier to find things.
