Guitar to tyros 5

Hi
Can anyone help I have been connecting my guitar through my tyros 5. I can here it I can see the amps but I can’t make my guitar play the different sounds .Any help out there on this great site

Yamaha Tyros 5 AMP Guitar DSP,         keep seaching on how to use tyros 5 for guitar effects, its up there.
