Hello from Italy
« on: February 17, 2021, 07:27:58 AM »
Hello everyone, I've been reading your forum for some time and I finally signed up. I hope I can spend more time on this beautiful place. I am not a musician, I play to relax. In this terrible moment for everyone there is a real need. Unfortunately, time is always short. Greetings from Italy, Rome.

Welcome Aldo! May I ask what keyboard you have? What kind of music do you like to play? I also play for my own pleassure, and occasionally for others.

Hi Aldo,

Welcome to the forum and thank you for becoming a member.  I’m sure you'll learn a lot about your keyboard here on the forum and will experience many pleasurable hours playing it.

You’ll want to be sure to visit the Home page and check out some of the tutorials you will find links to there.  The following link will take you to the Home page of the website:

https://psrtutorial.com/

Should you later decide to become a supporting member, which will include lifetime membership, other forum boards will become available to you, as well as a wealth of additional musical knowledge; however, there is absolutely no obligation to do so.  You may also use the following link to discover the full benefit of becoming a Supporting Member of the PSR Tutorial.

https://www.psrtutorial.com/forum/index.php/topic,15536.0.html

You’ll also gain access to an Excel Song Index database, made available to supporting members by our good friend Peter (XeeniX), which presently contains 85,000 plus song titles in 2,463 indexed books.  This index is updated often.

In lieu of making a donation only, you may also order any of the websites resources, which can be found at the following link:

https://psrtutorial.com/cdrom/productsum.html

Joe Waters updated “Supporting the PSR Tutorial”, on August 27, 2017, which can be found here:

Welcome to the PSR Tutorial forum, Aldo!

As already mentioned by Toril, could you please tell us what keyboard model you have?

All the best from Germany,
Chris

Dear friends of the forum, thank you all for your welcome. Thanks to the administrators for their availability. I started "playing" again after many ... too many years and since 2016 I am the happy owner of a cvp 701. I don't know music, I think I only have a good ear ... at least that's what my musician friends say. It's not enough to play decently, but at least to relax and enjoy.
I like jazz (mostly standards), swing, soundtracks (Morricone, Piccioni, Williams) and all that is "old melody". I play alone and especially the first year I had a lot of fun composing music, especially soundtracks.
Good music to you all!
Aldo
