Do you have recommendations for a link to download songs from YouTube and convert to mp3 .... ?

The free link i was using seems to be infected . . . .. so, looking for a reliable new link . . . .

Al,

The ytmp3.eu converter has several settings you can save.  You can install this converter as an Add-on to your Firefox or Chrome browser.  It will show up as a small arrow in the top right corner (in Firefox). When you find a Youtube video you want to convert to an MP3, just click on the arrow and it will start to do the conversion. But take a look at all the settings first... there are quite a few.  Once you do one conversion, the settings should show up.  After you apply your settings, they are saved for future conversions.

Here is another one which I use. The video downloader enables you to just download the audio if you dont want the whole video. Just make sure you look at all the settings before you download as there are many options to adjust for quality and file type etc.

I use Audacity and it is free. Google for instructions on how to download  from YouTube to MP3 or any sound source for that matter.
