Is it possible to copy a single ots to another style?
« on: November 26, 2021, 03:01:30 PM »
As the title says.
Is it possible to copy an ots to another style?

I'm tweaking some of my old psr3000 styles and I realy like some ots settings from the preset styles on Genos.
i would like to copy them into my old styles.

Some advice would be realy appreciated.

Regards,
Elko

Hi Elko,

You can use the PC (Windows) program "OTS Editor" from our forum member Jørgen Sørensen:

Note that JRE (Java Runtime Environment) ver. 8 is required. Read "Get JRE" for more information:

You can also "copy" an OTS into another Style directly on the keyboard as follows:
- Make sure "OTS LINK" is off.
- Load the source Style and call up the desired OTS to make the panel settings.
- Load the target Style, but don't press an OTS button yet.
- Press [Memory] and then the OTS button on which you want to memorize the current panel settings.
- Open the Style Selection display and re-save the target Style (in the User drive or on a USB stick). In this case you do NOT need to go to the Style Creator to save the Style.
- Complete!

Best regards,
Chris
➪ Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that and just did it.
➪ Never put the manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

Thank you so much, I didn't think of the fact that the active ots remains when selecting another style untill you select another one.
The fruits of getting older I guess :-)
