Why is the Song recording+stepedit+chord user style section closed? Why wouldn't they turn it on with an update? Is it that hard? I have sent many emails to Yamaha company. I think a lot of people have this problem. This does not suit a new generation Sx900.

I don't think that many people use this when you look at the over all sales of these keyboards to make it pay for altering it on currant keyboards. Maybe they will on new releases.

Nobody other than Yamaha knows the answer.

But, given it's been like that for about 20 years across all the models they've released, I suspect it's more difficult than we think.

Very interesting. This section is closed only on Genos and Sx models. Yamaha replied, "We will forward this issue to our technical team".
