T3 styles to Genos styles
« on: January 03, 2022, 02:01:26 PM »
Hi everyone, Happy New Year.
About 18 months ago I migrated from a Tyros3 to a Genos. I copied many of my midi files to the Genos. These midis were created using the styles from the T3 and work just the same on the Genos. I would like to convert them to using the better Genos styles instead. I don’t know if this is possible but if it is, what is the best method to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

One option is to re-record the songs. Or is that not an option for you?

You can change voices in a MIDI file, but I do not think it is possible to change the whole style. I would record the songs again using the new styles!

Thank you Toril and Fred,
My problem is I am talking about 60+ songs with overdubs and solos etc in tracks 1 to 8. I was just hoping that there was maybe a shortcut so as not to record all qty tracks again, but thanks anyway
